2005
In the spring, Judi was chosen to be the celebrity chef
spokesperson for Florida Red Potatoes. Known for her easy, yet elegant
recipes Judi was a perfect match for these local spuds, making several
appearances throughout the state of Florida sharing her inventive dishes and
secrets to red potatoes success.
Judi
Gallagher receives award for "Outstanding Community Service" from the
Creative Cooks Club and is named to "The Preservation Circle" of Historic
Spanish Point for her charitable work.
Judi
continues her travels around the world and highlighting her carrer with
interviews including Jacques Pepin, Baroness Philippine Rothschild, Marcia
Mondavi, and some of the greatest culinary talents of the century.

2004
Looking for yet another venue to share her knowledge of and love for food,
Judi launches Cooking In Paradise, a radio show on 1220 AM in Sarasota,
Florida last April. Her lively show brings in rave reviews as she interviews
food heavyweights including Arthur Schwartz, Roy Yamaguchi, Damien Mandola,
Joey Altman and Martin Yan.
2002
Proving she can cook up a storm on the mainland or the high seas, Judi uses
her culinary expertise and dynamic personality to showcase culinary
demonstrations and related presentations on Crystal Cruise Lines.
2001
Judi acts on her passion for food and takes her experience to a larger
audience, debuting her cooking shows Suncoast Cuisine (Channel 21), Suncoast
Cuisine Too (Channel 21 and BLAB TV), and What's Cookin'(SNN Channel 6) to
share her creative approach to cooking and dining throughout Sarasota and
Bradenton, Florida. She has quickly made a name for herself, building a
loyal following of viewers eager to see what Judi's cooking up next.
2000
Deciding to go into business for herself, Judi launched Judi
Gallagher-Cooking In Paradise to provide restaurant marketing, management
and public relations services for local, regional and national dining
establishments.
1996 Judi
relocated to Sarasota, Florida, to begin a culinary career in a tropical
paradise. Her first venture was as Marketing Director and Manager of the
award-winning, fine dining establishment Ophelia's On The Bay. While there,
sales increased an average of 22 percent.
1995
Rounding out her restaurant experience, Judi became a Trainer/Classroom
Coordinator for Outback Steakhouse. She was responsible for opening new
Outback restaurants, training staff, and implementing corporate policies.
1990 As
Co-Director of Operations for Just Desserts in Gloucester, Massachusetts,
Judi catered to such prestigious establishments as Legal Seafoods and DeLuca
Markets, providing sweet treats for the growing number of coffee and gourmet
food emporiums. She also had quite a following with the local consumers as
well.
1987
Building on her restaurant management success, Judi opens her
second chef owned restaurant in Gloucester, Massachusetts, called BJ's In
The Park. Specializing in gourmet food in a casual atmosphere, Judi’s
120-person restaurant quickly attracts a loyal following and gains regional
acclaim.
1984 Judi
first tests out her restaurant management skills at The Main Street Café in
Gloucester, Massachusetts. Under her ownership/management, the restaurant
tripled its volume in just three months and boasted a menu that won numerous
awards of distinction.
